F.U.N.K.'s Origins
F.U.N.K. started without a name nearly two decades ago as an unofficial group of friends who'd gather for naked adventurings, mostly of the vanilla nudist kind. That evolved into nudist gatherings, clothing optional camping trips, kinky gatherings, hot tub parties, etc. Eventually we felt it was time to make the group official. As such Fresno Underground Nudist & Kink was born several years ago. Covid may have reduced our ranks, but we are growing again.
Basic Rules
By attending a FUNK event, no matter the location, you are agreeing to
abide by the FUNK membership rules. Violating said rules will either
result in a warning or you will be asked to leave and removed from
FUNK entirely.
Anonymity is key with this group. We have members of all walks of life
and profession, some have families, some may even be in the public eye.
We also respect everyone's right to say "No." Anyone found ignoring
this, no matter the gender, orientation, comfort level, previous
experience, etc... Will either be asked to leave or have the police called
upon them (depending in severity of the situation) along with a lifetime
ban from the group.
If you are saying no to someone, we do ask that you say it politely, at
least the first time you say it to an individual. After that, feel free to draw
attention to the situation.
One must sign up for each event if you are to attend. Blue Public Events
being the exception as they are listed as a favor to members or one in
which we think members might be interested in, they have no
association with FUNK.
All guests must be approved by a veteran member of the group, or Fresnude himself. If you received an invitation, this may mean you have already been vetted unknowingly.
Non-vetted prospective members must be willing to meet in a designated safe place, such as a Starbucks or Denny's for a first meet and greet with a veteran member of the group or by Fresnude before attending an event.
No one under 18 is allowed at events hosted by FUNK. This age limit goes up to 21 if alcohol, tobacco (due to California's newer rules), or cannabis is to be available.
Drink Responsibly. Over indulging can get
you banned from FUNK, especially if you are
an offensive or over eager drunk.
Dress street appropriate when you arrive
and leave events, as most events are hosted
by members in their own homes. We do not
want unwanted attention. Also try to dress
to impress.
No glass in any pools, spas or hot tubs to
which we may have access.
No illegal substances or "party favors" to be available at these parties as this could make everyone in the group liable for one person's possession.
Our Event Rating System
It is our goal to try to keep events as easy to understand as possible. As we have people of varying comfort levels and interests, we created an event rating system to give everyone a reasonable understanding of what to expect at any given event, so they only end up attending events in their comfort level and/or interests. Events will usually take place within a private home or on private property, but not always. Look at the below guide for more explanation of our
rating system
Public - Public Event not generally related to group
These events are actually not held by FUNK. However, they may be personal events of
members such as a yard sale, or events which we think our members may find of interest,
such as Free Slurpee Day.
Vanilla - Non-Kink, Non-Nudist Event
These are events we set up which are pretty self explanatory. Sample events could be
someone's birthday party in which children will also be in attendance, or meeting up at a
Water Park.
Cherry / Cherry Vanilla - Clothing Optional Event
These events are obviously clothing optional. At these events anyone attending could be
in any state of dress or undress, however aside from the possibility of some people's lack
of clothing, these events are treated just as if they were vanilla events. If curious about any
non-vanilla events, this would be the recommended first-time choice in which to start and
will likely be the events in which new members first attend (yes the pun is intended). Sample
events could be a dinner party or a trip to Blacks Beach.
Cherry Chip - Clothing Optional Event, Kink Friendly
These events are Clothing Optional events where it is perfectly okay if kinky activity might
arise, but not at all expected or required. Sample events could be a hot tub party, a
camping trip up to Angel Falls, or a playful birthday party.
Mint - Nudist Event
These events are nude only events. At these events everyone attending will be in the nude,
however aside from that fact, these events are treated as if they were vanilla events. Sample
events could be a nudist potluck, a trip to a nudist resort, skinny dipping, or nude yoga.
Mint Chip - Nudist Event, Kink Friendly
These events are nude only events where it is perfectly okay if kinky activity might arise,
but not at all expected or required. Sample events could be a hot tub party, naked twister
party, etc.
Rocky Road - Kink Event at Public Location (always read details)
These events are kink inspired events, but which are being held at a public setting, such as
a restaurant, coffee shop, etc, at which kink based things will be discussed or delved into.
It is also possible it could be at a location in which there may be hotel room access,
however that the main event is being held where we must be respectful of public decorum.
Fudge - Kink Event at Private Location
These events are all about the kink. Sample events could be a play party to a tutorial on
stripping, to erotic photography and modeling classes/workshops.
